OKLAHOMA CITY–Ardmore insurance agency CEO Bob Bramlett has been named chairman of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA or the Big “I”).
“Bob has been serving Oklahoma consumers with respect and professionalism for decades,” said Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner John D.Doak. “This appointment is well deserved. We offer him the sincerest of congratulations and look forward to seeing his leadership and hard work as chairman of IIABA.”
Bramlett is president and CEO of the Bramlett Agency in Ardmore, Okla. He has been very active in the Big “I” at the national and state levels since starting his career as an independent agent in 1975. He is also a former president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Oklahoma, (IIAO).
Bramlett will be installed as chairman Sept. 8 in Atlanta. Independent Insurance Agents of Oklahoma will host a reception for Bramlett on Sept. 25.
Founded in 1896, IIABA is the nation’s oldest and largest national association of independent insurance agents and brokers, representing a network of more than 300,000 agents, brokers and their employees nationally.
